We're not

I'm deeply sorry I believed in doing something better
It kinda looked cool being true to myself for a day or two
I thought smiling a lot would make it look easier
It felt great to mislead my fate but it didn't work at all

It's time to learn I'm just like all of you
We're meant to think we're something special when we're not
I always loved to say I see things in a positive way
But honey, the sun is going to burn us all someday

Cool down, chill out 
Sit down and wait until it all falls down...
